Not a Slippery Slope?-PCA and Women Deacons

I am sure this is not a slope. It can’t be slippery. Right? But from here to there, though flat and rough (as opposed to sloping and slippery), is where we find ourselves in the PCA on women as deacons.

  1. Not a slippery slope, a free-fall.

I guess the real test as to what the PCA is going to do concerning women deacons is whether or not the church given in the above web link is lovingly confronted, instructed, and then disciplined if necessary.

I am praying earnestly that men like yourselves will take a firm stand within your denomination on issues like this and Creationism. I am sure you realize that the infallibility and the authority of the Scriptures is what is at stake.

Amen, Amen, world without end Amen. When you can erode authority, you can erode anything.

The link that Les linked above is very similar to the Liberti Church. I have seen and even posted pictures on my site where they actually ordained women. This is not over for the PCA, not even close.
