Matthew 25 Network gets used: The Obama Pro-Life Website

It is bad enough that an organization would use the bible to support their efforts to elect a man with blood on his hands to the presidency of the US. The Matthew 25 Network does just that. Read what The National Journal said in an article September 22,
The race between Barack Obama and John McCain is neck-and-neck in the bellwether state of Ohio, according to the latest polls. But Obama is getting a boost in the state among a traditional Republican voting bloc — evangelical Christians — from the Matthew 25 Network, a group that claims to be the first Christian PAC of its kind.
Today, Matthew 25 is launching the first of a planned series of ads supporting Obama on Christian radio stations throughout the Buckeye State. The new spot (subscription) features former Rep. Tony Hall of Dayton, a self-described pro-life Democrat discussing how his Christian faith is leading him to vote for Obama.
These folks claim to be Christians, evangelical Christians at that. Never mind that the bible says in Rev. 21:8,
But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death. (Bold added)
So these so-called Christians are supporting a candidate who himself supports infanticide.
Additionally, these people are either stupid, deceived or both. Oh, there is a third option. They know full well what they are doing and who they are supporting and are themselves deceiving the public.
But bad to worse is that The Matthew 25 Network has launched a pro-life web site. That’s right. Here is what they say about the launch.
The Matthew 25 Network is pleased to announce a new resource for pro-life Americans, ProLifeProObama.com. Barack Obama will bring the kind of systemic, grassroots, bottom-up change we need to help families to choose life and reduce the abortion rate in this country.
Really? Will he seek to overturn Roe v. Wade? Or will he seek to loosen all restrictions on abortions as he has promised?
Will Obama again support infanticide as he has in the past?
These people who claim to be Christians are themselves not only deceiving but being deceived. They are being used by an enemy so much smarter than they. What is so sad here is that they are dragging the name of the Savior through the filth of their political actions.
WWJD. I never liked that bracelet thing. But I’m sure Jesus would not countenance people supporting a baby-killing candidate, no matter what his other promises on tax policy and healthcare. How do I know? Jesus came out firmly against murder.

I see what Obama is doing with his talents, and I don’t really see him hearing, “well done, my good and faithful servant”, so why would Christians so vehemently support him? Now, I’m not saying he’ll recieve the same curse as the last servant, but one begins to wonder with his vehement criticism of the “Induced Infant Liability Act”, and participation in a church and denomination that is truly heretical, and shouldn’t be considered a Christian church.

Obviously the Matthew 25 group and Barak Obama see “the least of these My brethren” clause as grounds for socialism and a welfare state. However, it is interesting that it would not include “unborn babies.” If we are going to twist scripture we could at least twist it to promote something virtuous. Jesus never calls His enemies brethren in any place in the Gospels. He never calls anyone except believers “little ones,” or “least of these,” or “My brethren.”

DO be so close minded … I think that you are not looking at the fact that he is not making women have abortions, but he is making ways for women to have the choice to have the child. What is McCain doing for those women who are havng the abortion!! This Christian is for OBAMA

JTB, it looks like you have been deceived as well. rk is right to point you to the bible. God’s word is crystal clear on this matter. Abortion is murder. Those committing the act are guilty as well as those who “assist” in the murder. It’s called being an accomplice to murder.
No he is not “making” women get abortions. He, in the past and if elected, is making it easy and more available for women to kill their children. It is the same as if Obama were to be able to clear the statutes of all laws against rape. he would not be doing the raping. he would not be forcing anyone to be raped. But, he would be aiding and abetting the rapist in carrying out the rapes.
In addition, Obama is deceiving many naive people who name the name of Christ. He says he wants to reduce abortions. That is a lie. He has said that the first thing he plans to do if elected is sign FOCA which will eliminate virtually every restriction on abortion. The number of abortions will soar.
Wake up! Turn to God’s word and search diligently and He will seek Him while He may be found and He alone can turn your heart from the heinous sin you are planning on committing.
