For what it is worth, I plan to vote for John McCain for President on November 4th. Here are some of the reasons why:
1. McCain is pro-life. He has stated that he would like to see Roe v. Wade overturned and the abortion issue returned to the states. Obama is pro-death.
2. McCain has said that he will appoint strict constructionists to the Supreme Court if given the opportunity.
3. McCain’s ficsal policies as stated by him are sounder and and have the best chance to strengthen the economy.
4. McCain has vastly more experience in foreign policy than Obama. McCain better understands our enemies and will deal with them from a position of strength.
5. McCain has stated that he supports the traditional institution of marriage between one man and one woman.
6. McCain advocates “drill here, drill now.”
7. McCain has a record of supporting our 2nd ammendment rights and has been endorsed by the NRA. Obama advocates significant encroachment on these rights.
8. McCain is a capitalist. Obama is a socialist.
9. McCain believes in smaller government. Obama believes in bigger government and a nanny state.
10. Should McCain not be able to serve, his running mate Sarah Palin is a more experienced executive than even Obama. She is a conservative in the Reagan tradition. Obama’s running mate, Joe Biden, is a big government liberal.
