On this Reformation Day, let us all give thanks to God for His wonderful provision in leading godly men to break the shackles of human efforts attempting to find peace with God.
Not only do we look back on Martin Luther and his courageous act in 1517 on this day, but we look back to the courage of John Wycliff, John Hus, Ulrich Zwingli, John Calvin, Theodore Beza, John Knox and many more.
Truly is this day a day of thanksgiving to God for moving these men to recover the true gospel and deliver so many from the snare of the enemy. See Romans 3:23-26.
May we continue even to this day to be diligent and faithful to our Protestant Reformation heritage.
